Carbon Neutral
Braiswick Photographic has been a pioneer in the school photography industry since the sixties, and in 2022 we started our journey which saw us become one of the first school photographers and is still one of the only to become carbon neutral. Last year we aimed to reduce our CO2 emissions by 20%. We are incredibly proud to announce we have surpassed this goal making a 21% reduction. This is far from job done so we remain committed to moving towards Net Zero.
We have also made positive steps towards our three year goal of only using renewable sources.
Some of our goals moving forward

-
Continue to reduce our CO2 emissions
-
Significantly reducing the use of cardboard mounts.
-
Reduce our emissions by approximately 16.5 to 22 tonnes
-
Continue to move toward Net Zero
-
Recycle all waste materials
-
Lower our emissions by transitioning our fleet from fuel-powered vehicles to Hybrid
-
Prioritise our environmental responsibility and embrace innovative solutions to further reduce our emissions
“We are proudly one of the
first school photographers to
become carbon neutral. As a
company working with educational
partners, we recognise the affect
that climate change will have on
coming generations and pledge
to build on last years success
by further reducing the
impact we have on this.”
